Christians fail because they do non realize the potency that Jesus gave them when He left the globe. Fifty-fifty when they realize that they accept potency, they do not know how to receive or implement the power that is required to enforce authority.

Y'all might have the authority to agree up your mitt to try to stop a car from going through an intersection. But information technology is ability that makes a person respect your dominance. Without ability backing your authority, the automobile can go through the intersection without you being able to terminate him.

Jesus gave us authority over the earth when He left. (He gained back the authorization yielded by Adam in the Garden.) He made us kings and priests unto God. (Rev 1:half dozen)

Merely He also gave us the ability to enforce authorization over all the works of Satan without anything harming us. (Luke 10:19)

Many years ago, I purchased the entire Kenneth Hagin library of books and cassette tapes.

Hagin writes conspicuously and simply. He has been responsible for restoring to much of the church an understanding of the Bible and our roles as Christians.

I have learned something from every volume of his that I have read.

Instead of the mumbo-jumbo that comes from most preachers who echo terms from the Bible that they cannot empathise and explain in simple terms, Hagin really explains in his books what happened from the cross to the throne, what happened to human when Satan savage, how Jesus' death made it possible for usa to render to a new land, and how the Blood of Jesus has the power to prepare u.s. free and heal us.

Ask a preacher to explain why and how the Claret of Jesus and Jesus' expiry on the cantankerous can get in possible for us to be born again and be healed, and they will employ words that they do not understand. Then they echo the words that they heard.

The sign of a genius is power to explicate difficult concepts in elementary language. Like Michio Kaku who explains the universe merely compared to Steven Hawking who only uses complex terms, Hagin makes difficult concepts easy to sympathise.

After you read Hagin's books, you will no longer retrieve that Christianity is a agglomeration of superstition mingled with cannibalism (eating the Body and drinking the Blood) or the haven of uncomplicated unintelligent people who believe what they hear without understanding.

You lot will understand how God created the universe, how angels and demons operate, how Satan and Adam fell, how authority was lost and regained, why Jesus had to dice on the Cross and why his death on the Cross could accomplish what information technology did spiritually but the deaths of others past crucifixion did not have the aforementioned event. You will understand the reality and location of each Heaven and each region of Hell. You lot will understand the existence of the spiritual realm around yous and your spiritual eyes will be opened. You volition understand what it means to exist built-in over again, a new fauna (a different creation that never existed before) two Corinthians 5:17. You will learn how to function in this spiritual realm every bit a new spirit being with a recreated spirit alongside your own soul (mind, will and emotions) and trunk. Yous volition empathize what happens when you die and how if you exercise not take the frequency of Sky, it is impossible for your spirit to be fatigued to Heaven. Your frequency actually changes subsequently yous are built-in over again, yous are a new animate being.

In i of his books, Kenneth Hagin describes how as a teenager, baptized in a Baptist church, where he thought he had become a Christian, he died and went to Hell. He and so described how his grandmother'due south prayers brought him back until he really became born again, died and went to Sky.

This is intended as a recommendation for all of Kenneth Hagin's books, not just "The Believer's Authority".

His books are clear and concise, explain everything that is needed to have a stiff foundation for our Christian faith, and most important are authentic.

I trust all of his books. If I could have the books of only i author, they would be from Hagin. And if I could have only iii of his books, I would buy the iii courses.

Mike Murdock was quoted to have said that question is the seed for knowledge.
In the 1940s, Kenneth Hagin asked himself this question, "Practise we have potency that we don't know about- that we haven't discovered-that we're not using?
While having those questions in mind, he realized that the Holy Spirit was showing him something in that line considering he had exercised spiritual Authority before and then without knowing what he was doing.
Kenneth Hagin from his study, came to a conclusion that, Believers exercise have Authority and his study based on experiences, visions backed with New Attestation scriptures, formed the truth written in this volume.
He wrote that, Dominance is delegated power pregnant that information technology is given past someone or a superior ability. That is why a policeman who directs traffic can stop a car by just raising his hands because authorization is given to them past the regime he serves.
Hagin shows us that God vested this authorization in u.s.a. through Jesus as Paul tells us in Eph 6:12 to be stiff in the Lord and in the power of his might. But it's possible to have this power and yet non use it as he illustrates in these stories;
Years agone He read of a man who was constitute dead in a small, shabby room he rented for $three a calendar week. He had been a familiar sight on the street of Chicago for nigh 20years, ever dressed in rags and eating out of garbage cans. An Autopsy revealed that he had died of malnutrition, nevertheless a coin belt plant around his waist independent more than than $23,000.
That homo died in abject poverty, yet he had money.
In some other story, Kenneth Eastward. Hagin tells us that in 1952, the Lord Jesus Christ appeared to him in a vision and talked to him for nearly an 60 minutes and half about devils, demons, and demon possession.
At the end of the vision, an evil spirit that looked like a niggling monkey or elf ran betwixt Jesus and him and spread something like a smoke screen or night cloud. The demon began jumping upwards and down, crying in shrill vocalism, "Yakety-yak, yakety-yak, Yakety-yak." He (Hagin) couldn't see Jesus or understand what he was saying.
He also couldn't sympathize why Jesus allowed the demon to make such a racket. He wondered why Jesus didn't rebuke the demon and then he could hear what He was saying. He waited for a few moments, just Jesus didn't have any activity confronting the demon. Jesus was however talking, just he couldn't empathise a word he was saying- and he needed to, considering He was giving instruction concerning the devils, demons and how to excise authority.
He thought to himself, if the Lord knew he wasn't hearing what he wanted him to hear. He needed to hear because he was missing it.
He almost panicked. In his desperation, he cried out, "In the name of Jesus, You foul spirit, I command you to end!"
The minute he said that, the piffling demon striking the floor like a sack of salt, and the black cloud disappeared. The demon lay in that location trembling, whimpering, and whining, like a whipped pup. He wouldn't even look at him. "Non only shut upwardly, only get out of here in Jesus' Proper noun!. He allowable and the demon ran off.
Because Jesus knew exactly what he (Kenneth E. Hagin) was thinking. Jesus looked at him and said, "If y'all hadn't done something about that, I couldn't take."
In this great book of 76 pages, (My copy has 76pages) Kenneth E. Hagin shows usa that;
1) Our authority or right in Christ is revealed to united states when nosotros pray the prayers of Paul as found in Eph 1:16-20.
2) The value of authority rest on the power that is backside information technology and God himself is the power backside our authority. Luke ten:19, 1 John 4:four
3) This authorization is to be used on the devil and demons not on humans. 1 Peter v, Eph six:12
4) Our position in Christ.
5) How to break the power of the enemy;
6) The office of faith in authority
7) How to practise authorization
viii) How we can utilise our authority to stand in for others in prayers.
9) How the human will can reject God'south deliverance and say-so.
ten) Why people lose their healing.
11) And that our authority must be Bible based therefore the report of the word is very vital in knowing our right in God.
He shared a lot more likewise.
He categorically stated that, in our boxing against the enemy and his forces, we should keep in mind that we are above them and do have authority over them considering scripture tells usa that Jesus has conquered them. Our job is to enforce His Victory. God's victory belongs to us, only we are to carry information technology out.

It is a slap-up book for every christian.

I read this heretical book for the sake of witnessing to a family friend who is trapped in the prosperity gospel (Give-and-take of Faith) motility.

The writer claims that believers take an authority that is on par with God. He even goes so far as to say that in that location are things that Jesus can't do that nosotros tin can. This book attributes an incredible amount of power to Satan and his demons, while diminishing the absolute sovereignty of God.

The author often misquotes and misapplies Scripture, redefines words in a way that is convenient to his errant presuppositions, and heavily rests on supposed visions that he had with Jesus, where Jesus gave him undercover and personal noesis about what certain Bible verses mean. The volume is as well filled with anecdotes, baseless claims and detail experiences, all of which I accept no reason to believe as true since this human lies about things that can be verified using audio hermeneutics when handling Scripture.

A number of heresies are discussed in this volume, but here are a list of the ones that leaped out at me...
- Hagin claims that we inherit the very name of Jesus. Jesus' proper name belongs to Him alone. Frequently the Word of Faith movement puts an emphasis on Jesus' name as a magic incantation (as is the case in several places in this book). Jesus' proper name is representative of who He is. Nosotros are not Jesus, then we don't get His name.
- Many times in this book, the sinfulness of mankind is downplayed and blame-shifted to spirits inside that person. This replaces personal responsibility (a clear biblical doctrine) with that of victimization.
- In some very poor mishandling of the Ephesians text, Hagin makes the statement that Christians are actually seated at the right hand of God the Father. "When Christ saturday down, we saturday down, too." This is absurd and is likened to deifying all Christians. He actually says that "all things have been put under our feet". To further add to Hagin's claims to the deification of man, he actually refers to Adam as a god.
- Hagin destroys the very material of the gospel by calling the cross a place of defeat (as in, Jesus' defeat). This is a damning lie. If it was a defeat, why did Jesus say "It is finished!" when He died and not when he was raised? Why was the veil torn in the holy of holies upon His death and not when He was resurrected? Hagin says nosotros should focus less on a cantankerous and more on a throne. This alone is plenty to discredit everything else Hagin claims. On a related note, speaking of victory afterward on in the volume he says "Our job is to enforce His victory. His victory belongs to us." God shares His glory with no one. The victory is His alone!
- Hagin regularly exhorts Christians to "demand your rights". This speaks of entitlement, which is anti-biblical. The just thing nosotros are entitled to is hell. Grace is unmerited favor. The notion of entitlement is an set on on God's grace. He even tells usa to demand things of the devil. But we should take null to do with Satan.
- Hagin makes the claim that God needs our help. That there are things that Jesus is incapable of doing. He takes the illustration of the body of Christ as well far. According to Hagin, since Jesus is but the head of the body, he needs the rest of the torso to practice His will. Again, this shows the weak false god that Discussion of Faith preachers promote in their teaching. A god who needs our help and who is incapable of doing annihilation without usa. Naught could exist farther from the truth when information technology comes to the God of the Bible. Hagin supports this with a supposed vision he had, where Jesus quoted Matt 28:xviii and so manifestly said "But I immediately delegated my authorization on world to the church building, and I can piece of work but through the church building, for I am the Caput of the church." Who needs the Bible when you can rely on Kenneth Hagin's uncontested visions? What if I made a merits that I have seen a vision of Jesus where He said Kenneth Hagin'south visions were all fabricated?

Hither are some other things that should heighten red flags to any who read this book...
- He talks about how he prayed through the prayers in Ephesians over k times. As a issue of this vain repetitious prayer (Mt 6:7), he is now an authorization on the book of Ephesians.
- He regularly exhorts readers to end using our intellect when handling the Scriptures. God is the one who gave united states a listen, after all.
- He calls Satan a defeated foe. Nevertheless and then much emphasis in the Give-and-take of Faith movement is on how Satan continues to interfere in the life of Christians and the world. Satan is still a real and present threat in this globe. He is non bound yet. We are not chosen to rebuke the devil (every bit Hagin redefines the word "resist" to mean).
- Hagin makes the claim that authority can only be exercised if evil is present. That is completely untrue. If that is true, then God's potency dries upwardly at the end of the historic period.
- Hagin - "I become as much by what He doesn't say as I do by what He does say."
- Because of how many people are duped by the imitation healing ministry building of this movement, I was particularly disgusted by how he addresses why some people "lose their healing". It's non considering they were never healed in the first place. Hagin attributes this recession into their old debilitated country to their lack of faith and to Satan. This is anti-biblical on all fronts. These people were never healed. A liar and a fraud like Hagin wouldn't have the power to heal people. So, when people "lose their healing", what does a liar and a fraud say in response? "They didn't have enough faith to proceed information technology." It doesn't require much of a study of Scripture to find plenty of examples where Jesus and the apostles healed people where faith on the part of the healed was non present. If the healings done by Jesus and the apostles were dependent on faithless people and non on a gracious God, then God is really not all that mighty to salvage afterward all since He can't even proceed people healed subsequently a miracle. That is the determination you must come to if you are part of this movement.

To close this long review, if someone offers you this volume, throw it in the fire (or go on it during a toilet paper shortage). If yous are trapped in this movement, I would encourage you lot to remember critically virtually the things these faux teachers tell you. Satan disguises himself as an angel of low-cal, and false teachers are not going to tell you that they are lying to you lot (which should exist an obvious truth). Exist similar the Bereans, who didn't take even Paul'southward word for it, just searched the Scriptures to make sure what he said was true.

Authority by definition is delegated power. As believers, nosotros have been given power to operate with here on earth. Unfortunately, many believers know nothing of the authority that has been given to them (Luke x:xix). They actually don't believe nosotros have whatever authorisation, they believe they're barely saved and must get through life beingness dominated by the devil while living on Barely-Get-Forth Street. They magnify the devil more than they practice God. Satan has no right to dominion united states or dominate us. However the averag Authority by definition is delegated power. Equally believers, we have been given power to operate with here on earth. Unfortunately, many believers know aught of the dominance that has been given to them (Luke 10:xix). They really don't believe we have whatsoever authority, they believe they're barely saved and must become through life beingness dominated by the devil while living on Barely-Get-Along Street. They magnify the devil more than than they do God. Satan has no correct to rule us or boss us. Yet the average Christian has more religion in Satan's authorisation and power than in God's! I acknowledge that Satan is running the world's organization downward hither equally two Cor. iv:4 says. Notwithstanding, Satan is not running a truthful child of God- we are in the world merely nosotros are not OF the world.

The Writer, Rev. Kenneth E. Hagin profers answers to questions such as: The source of our potency, How to break the power of the devil, How to exercise authority, Organized religion's role in authority.

He also shared an outstanding feel he had while praying for his older brother's conservancy: I heard the Lord, in my spirit, challenge me- "you practice something near it!"

I have been praying for my brother's salvation for many years. He was what y'all would telephone call the "blackness sheep" of the family unit. Inspite of my prayers, he seemed to get worse instead of ameliorate. I always had prayed, "God save him." I'd even fasted. I was prone to slip back into praying this way, but after the Lord challenged me to practise something about it- I said, "In the Name of Jesus, I suspension the ability of the devil over my blood brother's life, and I claim his salvation!" I gave the order. I didn't go on saying it or praying it. When a rex gives an order, he knows information technology's going to be carried out. The devil tried to tell me my blood brother never would exist saved, but I shut my mind off and started laughing.

I said, "I don't recollect he'll exist saved - I know it! I took the Name of Jesus and bankrupt your power over him and claimed his deliverance and salvation." I went my way whistling. Within x days, my brother was saved. The Word works!

The book is worth studying again and over again for knowledge of the potency we possess as believers cannot be fully exhausted. However, agreement and interim will surely put us in command.
